Although it seems like people usually have closets that are filled with your classic black, white, grey, and camel clothing items, if you look in my closet, you can see that is not the case. I love wearing bright colors and my closet is a rainbow of prints and textures. Tracee Ellis Ross, blogger KarenBritChick, and the character Carrie Bradshaw are the three people I think of who are always wearing bold colors. Although their styles are different from each other, they all have this It-Girl style that is so fun and eye-catching. Their bright looks can be feminine or more masculine, which I think people usually associate with more feminine looks. Whatever color they wear, and their confidence completely are completely eye-catching.

Three Outfits, One Pair of Pants
To the office I have been wearing these pants from H&M a lot. I have been able to wear them in a lot of different ways, and they are so much more comfortable than most of my dress pants. Plaid is definitely having a moment this season beyond the typical fall flannels. I am sure everyone has seen in stores selling outfits that are reminiscent of Cher from Clueless with matching sets of plaid skirts and jackets. I love having my closet filled with different patterns and bright colors, so when I saw these pants walking home from work one day, I grabbed them.

Leopard Skirt and Beaded Bag
I have always considered cheetah print a neutral, and throughout the years my cheetah print jacket and heels have always been in rotation. So when animal print started to have it's moment, I was excited to see it being embraced as not only a neutral, but as a loud statement piece. I have loved seeing zebra, cheetah, and snakeskin prints on pants, shirts, shoes, and bags all over the runway and high street stores. I am currently obsessed with this bodysuit from Zara.

My Everyday Beauty Favorites
When I was in eighth grade, my mother took me to Sephora to buy my first makeup. "If you are going to wear makeup, you're going to wear it right," she told me when we got in the car. When we got to the store, I learned how to do a full face of makeup and to this day, it is still one of my favorite things to do. Makeup, like fashion, is an artistic outlet where I can express myself.
Here are my favorite products that I wear nearly every day!

College Apartment Tour: Kitchen
In November I was lucky enough to secure a great job after graduation. For my first year, I will be moving to Philadelphia. I am extremely excited to start this new chapter, but I am going to miss Chicago and my college apartment. It was a fantastic place to call my home for the last two and a half years. I will miss doing my homework in my breakfast nook at night and trying new Ina Garten recipes. Here is a tour around this kitchen that has a lot of great memories!

Culottes and Polka Dots
I had been on the hunt for denim culottes for a while now, but since I didn't know how long this trend would be around, I did not want to spend $100+ on a pair. Recently at work, one of my coworkers was wearing a great pair of white culottes and I asked her where they were from. She told me that she got them from H&M for $30. After work, I immediately headed to H&M and got not only the white, but also the regular blue denim pair as well. I have been wearing the two pairs non-stop.

College Apartment Tour: Bedroom
Hello everyone! Sorry I have been very MIA on here. My last semester of college was busy with coursework and planning for post-grad life. I have a lot of content planned, and am excited to be blogging on a more regular basis.
Anyway, here is another room tour of my college apartment-- my bedroom.
