This fall in Chicago, it has been far warmer than usual. Since some days are feeling like its still summer, I decided to dress a little more summer-y to take advantage of the warm climate before it starts to get cold.
One of the things I have been loving this year is patchwork denim. It is a fresh update to a timeless wardrobe piece. I typically wear these jeans dressed-down, but I decided to do a less casual look this day. This blouse from The GAP is a great fit, and I tucked in one side to give it a little flair that is similar to the high-low cut at the bottom of the jeans.
I also decided to style this outfit with my favorite bright colored bag since the rest of the outfit is much more muted.
These white heels are so fun, and such a unique item in my wardrobe. I think wearing a heel with these jeans really show off its cool hem.
To keep with the blue and white colors of the look, I wore my blue/green iridescent Kendra Scott Elsia necklace. I wear it multiple times a week. I was apprehensive to purchase such a popular item for myself, but after purchasing it, I can see why her jewelry is so popular. It is fun to have a simple necklace that still gives off a little personality.
